Fibroblast Rejuvenation

Fibroblasts are particularly valuable cells for the skin. They produce proteins that make it firm and elastic. With age, the number of these important cells decreases, they age, and their functions slow down. As a result, wrinkles appear, and the skin sags. This is especially noticeable in areas such as the face, neck, décolleté, and hands. Restoring skin youthfulness is possible by increasing the number of fibroblasts to a level that corresponds to youthful skin. The procedure to increase their number is called neofibrolifting or fibroblast rejuvenation. These cells have long been recognized in cosmetology as one of the best, most effective, and safe procedures for natural skin rejuvenation.

WHAT IS NEOFIBROLIFTING?

Neofibrolifting is a skin revitalization and rejuvenation procedure using therapy with your own fibroblasts. Neofibrolifting became the world’s first procedure based on the use of a patient’s own cells, cultured outside the body, approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for clinical use. [1]

HOW IS THE NEOFIBROLIFTING PROCEDURE PERFORMED AT ANACOSMA CLINIC

Skin rejuvenation with fibroblasts takes place in several stages:

1. Biopsy (Cell Collection)
After consultation and examination by a dermatologist, a small skin sample (3 mm thick) is taken from the area behind the ear. The skin is immediately placed in a special container and transported to a laboratory for cell cultivation.

2. Fibroblast Cultivation
In the lab, specialists select active cells for further cultivation. They are placed in a nutrient solution that promotes cell division and multiplication. After 4–6 weeks, laboratory specialists collect and prepare millions of new, young, active cells for delivery back to the clinic.

3. Injection
The prepared fibroblasts are injected intradermally by a dermatologist at the clinic. If necessary, the injections can be repeated.

Fibroblast reserves can be stored in a cryogenic laboratory for many years for future injections if needed.

WHEN AND HOW LONG CAN YOU SEE THE RESULTS OF FIBROBLAST REJUVENATION?
