Blanching Belotero

Blanching (French “to whiten, wash”) is the most advanced injective rejuvenation method (wrinkle effacement). The special feature of the technique is the superficial injection of a filler into the skin with small, painless pricks to fill wrinkles even in “unresponsive” areas (for example, on the cheeks, on the forehead, around the mouth, on the neck, etc.). The blanching procedure is carried out only with Belotero products manufactured by the German company MerzPharma (based on hyaluronic acid). This filler is totally safe. There are 5 types of Belotero products:

• Belotero Soft is the lightest filler in the line containing the lowest amount of hyaluronic acid. It is used to remove fine wrinkles (for example, “crow’s feet”), therefore it is only injected into the upper layer of the epidermis.
• Belotero Basic (Balance) is suitable for combating medium wrinkles, such as expression lines, forehead wrinkles. It is injected into the medium and the deep layers of the epidermis.
• Belotero Intense has a high viscosity due to the concentration of hyaluronic acid, so it is suitable for correcting deep wrinkles and folds on the face, chest, and neck. Also, the drug is used for contouring.
