What are exosomes? 

Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles (tiny vesicles 30-200 nm in size) constantly secreted by almost all cells of any organism. They are 1000 times smaller than cells. [1]

In 2013, US scientists James Rothman and Randy Shekman and German Thomas Südhoff were awarded the Nobel Prize for discovering how exosomes are formed in cells and why they are important – how they deliver information between cells. [2]

Exosomes move between cells and deliver information and cargo (lipids, proteins, nucleic acids, enzymes, hormones, neurotransmitters, growth factors, RNA and other important molecules) to those cells where it is needed. [3]

Exosomes also serve to transmit signals between cells in the human body. That is, we can say that cells communicate with each other in this way. This is a kind of cellular messenger. As we age, our skin loses its ability to support collagen synthesis and repair damaged cells due to internal “breakdowns” within the cells. It is exosomes that give old cells the information necessary for regeneration and rejuvenation.

How does exosome injection work? 

ExoCoBio, a Korean company that is the world leader in the study of exosomes and the production of preparations based on them, has developed and patented the technology for isolating pure exosomes and improved them.

The pure exosomes in this company’s products are derived from mesenchymal stem cells (isolated from human adipose tissue). Because it is they that give the maximum effect on the skin and, based on a large number of studies over the past decades, are considered safe. [4]

• This is a completely natural product that does not cause an immune response of the body and the risk of irritation.
• Exosomes do not carry the risk of oncotransformation. [5]
• They contain a wide variety of biologically active substances.

Currently, two exosome-based drugs are presented by ExoCoBio:

1. ASCE+ SRLV – face serum in two bottles. The first vial contains 5 billion pure exosomes that carry the other constituents of the vial (peptides, amino acids, growth factors, vitamins and minerals). The second bottle consists of hyaluronic acid, growth factors and amino acids. Due to the signals transmitted by exosomes, regeneration processes are accelerated at the cellular level. Thus, there is a fight against inflammatory processes, restoration and preservation of youthfulness of the skin (increased elasticity, reduced wrinkles).
2. ASCE+ HRLV is a hair growth product. The first vial contains 10 billion exosomes, growth factors and over 30 different nutrients (biotin, copper, tripeptides, etc.). This cocktail stimulates hair growth, reduces inflammation, and regulates the hair growth life cycle. The patient receives thicker hair that does not fall out and healthy scalp without peeling, inflammation, itching.

ASCE+ HRLV hair growth product will show noticeable results 5 days after the procedure. You will already see new hair within 2 months. It is recommended to undergo at least 5 procedures for an effective result.

How long does the result last?

The result of treatment with facial exosomes lasts 6-12 months. After six months or a year, you need to go through an additional session to maintain the effect. Regarding the treatment of baldness, it all depends on the individual characteristics of hair growth and restoration, treatment should be carried out for at least 3 months, and a course of procedures should be carried out to maintain the result every 6-12 months.
