Liposuction or Cryolipolysis – Which to Choose?
This decision should be made together with a doctor during a consultation. It is important to determine whether there are indications for either fat-reduction method, assess the size of the fat fold, and see whether your goals can be achieved without surgery.

Before the cryolipolysis procedure, a physician always conducts a consultation to develop a personalized treatment plan, determine whether there are any contraindications, and answer all patient questions.

To assess body composition—including fat, muscle, bone structure, and water content—a body composition analysis (InBody) is performed. Body measurements, weight, and pre-procedure photos are also taken to document the results.

The thickness of the subcutaneous fat layer is measured using a specialized ultrasound sensor. The physician then marks the applicator placement area, scans the cryoprotective pad, applies it to the treatment site, and sets up the applicator by selecting the duration and temperature (down to -12°C).

Depending on the treatment area and specific goals, either flat applicators (also used to improve skin contour) that attach closely to the body, or vacuum applicators that gently draw in the fat fold, are used.
