Laser Vascular Removal

The principle of the procedure is simple. The laser beam is aimed on the area with the dilated vessel. Under the effect of heat, blood cells start clotting gluing walls of the vein and capillaries. The dilated area disappears. Depending on the size of the area with dilated vessels, it may take from 1 to 3 sessions. Minor couperosis is removed after a single procedure.

The procedure is quite simple. First, the doctor treats the patient’s skin to clean it. Then, the cooling gel is applied, which is required to conduct the laser beam. The client puts on special protective glasses, after which the laser beam is aimed at the problem area. Depending on the size of the problem, the session lasts up to 15 minutes. Then, the surface is cleaned of gel residues. Bepanthen is applied. In 5 minutes, the product is removed and the patient can go back to their normal life.

Redness is often observed for a couple of hours at the site of laser removal of blood vessels. Also, the doctor may prescribe treatment of the area with a special ointment for 1-2 days. If you have scheduled laser removal of facial blood vessels on the eve of any event, it is better to undergo the procedure a few days earlier. In any case, daytime make-up will help to hide the unwanted redness. You should also understand that after the session your skin will be vulnerable, so you should avoid direct sunlight and even more so avoid going the tanning parlour or the beach.

Laser removal of blood vessels is primarily done to get rid of spider veins or capillaries on the face, body, or legs.
