RF lifting AGNES

Agnes doesn’t just stimulate collagen production (unlike all other existing RF lifting technologies); it is also capable of facial contouring. The AGNES device incorporates an innovation developed by Agnes Medical: square-shaped radiofrequency waves. Unlike traditional sinusoidal waves, these square waves maintain maximum energy output throughout the procedure.

AGNES generates targeted heating, which can either stimulate collagen production in the skin or reduce fat deposits—depending on the settings used. This significantly minimizes residual energy, thereby protecting surrounding tissues from damage (unlike other RF devices such as Morpheus8) and shortening the recovery period. In addition to stimulating new collagen synthesis, AGNES RF also reorganizes existing collagen structures in the skin. This causes the skin to lift and tighten, especially in delicate areas like around the eyes, giving it a noticeably younger appearance.

During an RF-lifting session with AGNES, up to nine different microneedles may be used. Each one is uniquely designed in shape and length to address specific issues. All AGNES needles are partially insulated, which protects deeper layers of the dermis from damage. For example, to reduce fat under the chin, the needle with the deepest insulation is used—ensuring that only the exposed tip affects the fat cells, while the rest of the needle does not harm adjacent tissues.

This highly precise, targeted energy delivery is what makes AGNES technology truly unique—no other device on the market is capable of directing radiofrequency energy into fat tissue with such accuracy.

After the RF-lifting procedure, a hydrocolloid patch is applied to the treated area, which must be worn for 24 hours and kept dry during that time. After 24 hours, you may resume your usual skincare routine.

The fat destroyed during the procedure is naturally eliminated by the liver and lymphatic system. This is a completely normal biological process—our bodies remove dead cells via the liver every day.

Recovery after RF-lifting of the lower third of the face typically takes 3 to 5 days. Bruising and swelling are possible, so it is important to apply cold compresses during the first three days to reduce swelling.

Following RF-lifting in the eye area, the recovery period tends to be slightly longer—on average, about 7 days. However, individual responses may vary, as each body heals differently.

Several sessions are typically required. Depending on the area being treated and the severity of the issue, usually 3-4 sessions are needed, with intervals of 1-2 months between each. However, one session may be sufficient.

The first results of RF-lifting can often be seen shortly after the first treatment, with many doctors receiving positive feedback from patients within just a few days. However, the optimal results usually become visible after 3-6 months, as collagen and elastin continue to be produced for some time after the procedure.

We continue to age every day, so the tightening of the skin on the eyelids or cheeks and reduction of fat deposits are not permanent. However, they last a long time – at least a year. As for facial slimming, a slight fluctuation in weight (approximately up to 5 kg) will not affect the result.

Radiofrequency lifting works excellently in combination with other procedures, such as Altera ultrasonic fat lifting. First, the doctor uses the Agnes device to remove excess fat deposits, and then, after 1 month, performs a non-surgical facelift using the Altera device to tighten the SMAS layer, initiate collagen production, and achieve results lasting up to 2 years. This way, the face becomes aristocratically refined and youthful.
