On September 22 and 23, ANACOSMA Clinic and Pavel Denishchuk School of Plastic Surgery held ICAMPS 2023 – the first charitable international congress of plastic and reconstructive surgery in Ukraine.
The philosophy of ICAMPS 2023 is based on teaching modern and safe methods of reconstructive and plastic surgery to help victims of Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as training in modern plastic surgery techniques. The world’s best specialists shared not only author’s techniques, but also experience in prevention of complications.
During the two days of which more than 50 speakers – plastic and reconstructive surgeons known worldwide – shared their experience. Timothy Martin, Oscar Ramirez, Paolo Persichetti, Thomas Campney and other famous surgeons were the guest speakers of ICAMPS 2023.
Plastic surgeons of ANACOSMA clinic also shared their experience. Andriy Mironov spoke about methods of skin reduction after liposuction of large volumes, Taras Baranov about the role of the caudal part of the nasal membrane in the formation of the nasal tip, Pavel Denishchuk shared the secrets of forming invisible scars in face lift, and also showed step by step his technique of organ-saving blepharoplasty live from the operating room of ANACOSMA Clinic.
All profits of ICAMPS 2023 were transferred to the surgical treatment of AFU soldiers. Information on the distribution of this amount among military hospitals with details will be provided in the near future together with the co-organizer of the congress, the Charitable Foundation “Modern Ukraine”.
The final distribution of the proceeds from the charity auction of wartime art objects, held exclusively for ICAMPS 2023 participants, will also be announced.
