On September 2–3 in Kyiv, the Visiting Professor Program II took place — the second international scientific-practical program for plastic surgeons, dedicated to endoscopic and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty. At the invitation of the National Secretary of ISAPS and Head of the Surgery Department at ANACOSMA Clinic, Dr. Pavlo Denyshchuk, world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Oscar Ramirez (USA) visited Ukraine. He is known for his unique endoscopic facelift techniques and is listed among the most prominent scientists of the 20th century.
During the program, Dr. Ramirez performed several surgeries at ANACOSMA Clinic.
As in previous years, the event was organized by the National Secretary of ISAPS in Ukraine, PhD in Medical Sciences and Head of the Surgery Department at ANACOSMA Dr. Pavlo Denyshchuk, together with the All-Ukrainian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons.
As part of the event, Dr. Oscar Ramirez, one of the top 3 plastic surgeons in the world, demonstrated his signature endoscopic facelift and open rhinoplasty techniques. Live broadcasts of the surgeries were conducted from the operating rooms of ANACOSMA Clinic, which regularly hosts globally renowned surgeons due to its state-of-the-art, high-tech surgical facilities. “ANACOSMA Clinic — particularly its operating rooms and technical equipment — meets the standards of even the most advanced plastic surgeons who employ cutting-edge techniques. Just as the second program concluded, the third has already been announced: In April 2017, Dr. Constantino Mendieta (USA) will visit Ukraine at the invitation of Dr. Denyshchuk to demonstrate his signature techniques in breast surgery. Once again, a world-famous plastic surgeon will operate at ANACOSMA Clinic.
About the Visiting Professor Program
The Visiting Professor Program is a scientific-practical event for plastic surgeons regularly initiated by Dr. Pavlo Denyshchuk, National Secretary of ISAPS in Ukraine, and the All-Ukrainian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons.
During each session, world-leading plastic surgeons visit Ukraine to perform live demonstration surgeries for Ukrainian specialists. In 2016, two such programs took place:
The first (May 19–20, 2016) focused on innovative techniques in blepharoplasty and lipofilling, featuring live surgeries by renowned surgeons Alain Fogli (France), Alex Verpaele (Belgium), and Nuri Celik (Turkey).
The second (September 2–3, 2016) was dedicated to endoscopic and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty, headlined by Dr. Oscar Ramirez, one of the most recognized plastic surgeons in the world.
The third program is scheduled for April 2017, with participation from Dr. Constantino Mendieta (USA), an ISAPS professor, who will focus on correction of the female breasts, buttocks, and calves.
